How it began……
About 15 years ago we bought our first Australian shepherd. I was still grieving the loss of my sheltie Grace but the kids tricked me into a new puppy. They knew a new puppy would help me to heal. Baloo, a little boy puppy chose me even though I really wanted a girl. He knew better and I’m so glad! He was the best dog! So smart and intuitive of my needs. I have owned many breeds over the years but I was absolutely hooked on Australian Shepherds, or "Aussies"! Their only downside is the amount of shedding they do! About a year later we adopted Bella - an AKC blue Merle Australian shepherd. Baloo and Bella could not breed as that would make unhealthy possible blind puppies. We fixed Baloo to ensure we would not experience such issues. These two got along great and made our family, and our home, pretty complete.
After my father passed away I bought my mother a standard poodle as a companion. He was rescued from a bad situation. He had been kept in a cage with a Great Dane for much of his puppy life. He was 8 months old when we got him and it took some time to get him to feel safe outside his cage. My mother named him Beau Fidel Ami which translates from French to "beautiful faithful friend". Beau Fidel Ami became such a wonderful friend and companion for my mom. When my mother passed away we inherited Beau. Beau and Bella created our first litter of Aussiedoodles. The puppies were amazing! Their coats were curly, wavy and soft. They had little to no shedding! The nature of this breed makes for excellent service dogs! They want to please, are super smart, and love people.
Responsible breeding is what we believe in. We only breed once per year per female. Our females retire at seven years of age and get to stay with us and live out their lives. We love them very much. Our dogs live with us - and not outside in kennels. We only breed after our girls are checked and approved to breed by our local family veterinarian. All of our dogs are fully health certified; including eyes, ears, and hips. Our puppies get a health check before they go to their new homes. We begin crate training at about five weeks to establish night control. Crate training makes potty training much easier. It also keeps your new puppy out of trouble when you are away. Our puppies are also wormed and kept up to date on vaccinations. We want to ensure you have the healthiest puppy possible.
We believe in providing each puppy as much love and attention as we can to create a loving well balanced pup. Training is important and we highly recommend taking your new pup through some basic training classes. Your puppy is highly intelligent and can learn basically any task or trick you want to teach them. They are wonderful family pets or excellent service dogs. They are hypoallergenic with little to no shedding! Making these pups perfect even for those with allergies.
We love each and every puppy and want to make sure they find the perfect homes. We welcome visitors! Meet the puppies and meet the parents. We love to follow the lives of our babies and watch them grow. We are here for you should you have any training issues and need assistance.
Come meet the babies and select your new "fur-ever friend"! We would love to have you be part of our Aussiedoodle family! ♥️
